Attending school remains, worldwide, the most important tool for paving the way to a secure and self-determined future. Promoting education therefore lies at the heart of Usthi’s work. The foremost objective is to enable children affected by poverty to receive a solid school education. In addition, Usthi supports employable skills training for young adults without a school qualification or practical work experience, supporting them to gain access to the formal labour market.

Usthi’s education projects are implemented in collaboration with local partner organisations in India and Nepal. The long-standing partnerships make it possible to develop the joint projects in a comprehensive and sustainable way.
