Project Development in Nepal

How do we sustainably develop our projects at Usthi?
Personal exchange with the children, families and project partners on the ground provides an insight into the challenges. In order to achieve a sustainable and long-term impact, the “Empowering Children and Families” project takes a holistic approach: Usthi not only provides children with access to education, but also supports the families, schools and teachers in the project region.

In April, Executive Director Alessandra Grosse, Program Coordinator Mirjam Hirzel and the Usthi founder Kurt Bürki visited the 10 schools supported by Usthi in Dhading, west of the Kathmandu Valley. The video gives an insight into our work and the project visit.
